I am so not tired that it is unfunny. Got up at 8am, practically had to drag myself out of bed and stumbled into the bathroom. There I sat upon the great bathroom throne for about 5 minutes just staring at the mirror doing nothing until I finally decided it was time to take a shower. Later blow dried my hair and applied wax, plopped on my fluffy bedroom slippers and had brekkie. I had a bacon sandwich and fish fingers! YUUUMMM. Waited till my mom got ready and out the door we went.
First stop was the DIMA office to settle our return visas, we were there for about 20 minutes tops and the city office is so much better than Rockdale. I always hated going to Rockdale, the line was never ending and I would have spent almost an entire day there. Anyways, once that was done we crossed the road to Student Flights; firstly to settle my refund ticket from Lauda Airlines, it was such a big bizarre mystery. I didn't expect to need paperwork because everything now is computerized right? Well so it happens that it was not on the system and there's no sign of the ticket I put in for a refund BUT they entire office knows that I put a ticket in for a refund. Now how does that work? So now I've got to go digging through my files looking for my receipts. *Grumble*Grumble* Since I will not be able to obtain the refund in time for my December flights I now have booked flights on SIA for both myself and Fel. We will be holidaying in Singapore for 4 days and in Kuala Lumpur for 2 weeks. Fel would then head to Jakarta for a couple of weeks before heading back here.
Our only problem now is finding an afforable SIN-JKT flight as most of the quotes I have gotten are from AUD550, I've even got a quote from Garuda for AUD800++! That's almost the amount we paid for tickets to Singapore AND Malaysia. Does ANYONE at all know where to get cheaper flights? Our flights are timed so that we fly from SYD-SIN, SIN-KUL & KUL-SIN together. We then take separate flights from Singapore, Fel to Jakarta and me back here. So basically everything has been confirmed and will be paid next week for our Singapore & Malaysia holiday except for Fel's Jakarta. It's really bugging me bad because I do not like planning things halfway like this. It gives me a piece of mind knowing that everything has been settled and I can be carefree for the next month before flying off.
My bigger headache is the refund, I'm so gonna be rummaging through the pile of files that I have and I WANT MY MONEY BACK! It's close to a grand and if I lose that money my December trip would basically cost me double. Next up application for my Masters, I think they are due sometime in November but will try hard to have them posted by next week. Why oh why do I have so many things to do. Also my correspondence course is still standing and I have yet to do anything with it. All of which have to be done within a month. Yes I admit, Sass has been extremely lazy but I also have been busy with work.....
Right right, shall stop my babbling....need to go rest now. Its been a long long day...
